Cambridge researchers have apparently come up with a discovery that can cure the common cold! It had been thought to be impossible to get the body's immune defenses to destroy the common cold virus after it invaded the inner sanctum of a human cell. Scientists plan for clinical trials of new drugs based on the breakthrough to begin within 2-5 years, and this breakthrough could cure other viruses that lead to diseases (such as the deadly rotavirus):
