Study found that only 6% of US high school graduates perform at the advanced level in math, compared to 28% of Taiwanese students and more than 20% of students in Finland and Korea. The US is 31st out of 56 countries! The lowest-ranking states (West Virginia, New Mexico, and Mississippi) fall behind Serbia and Uruguay:

Israeli researchers have developed a robotic snake that can maneuver through difficult terrain, sneak stealthily inside buildings, use its sensors to scan their interiors, and even deploy disposable sensors that can be left behind to monitor activity inside buildings.
