New book discusses how global warming and the worldwide population increase by 40% over the next 40 years will result in sparsely populated Canada, Scandinavia, Russia and the northern US becoming formidable economic powers and migration magnets.  The book discuses how new shipping lanes will open during the summer in the Arctic, allowing Europe to have direct trade between the Atlantic and the Far East.  Canada's oil resources are projected to be second only to Saudi Arabia and their population is projected to grow by more than 30%, 6x faster than the growth rate of China:

Article examining the all-too-common problem today of one person having to figure out how early he/she needs to disclose their 6-figure debt to the other person in their relationship.  One woman didn't realize she was $170k in debt (she says it was too depressing for her to find out how big her debt was) until shortly before her wedding day...her fiance accused her from hiding that from him and dumped her.  Another woman will be $250k in debt before she gets married but her fiance is sticking by her...it probably helps that she is really pretty and in her final year of medical school (her debt is due to her educational expenses):
