Gardiner's frogs are one of the smallest frogs in the world and live
on Seychelles islands and can hear despite not having a middle ear
with an eardrum. It turns out that those frogs hear with their
*mouth*:

10-year-old boy discovered a mummy in the attic of his house in
Germany! The sarcophagus is inscribed with Egyptian hieroglyphics,
but police are investigating if that was a way that someone tried to
cover up a murder. Recent reports seem to indicate that the mummy is
over 2,000 years old, but they don't know how it got into the attic:

Samsung is going to install Lookout antivirus (which I use) on every
Android smartphone it sells to help it get further into the business

Samsung, HTC and others make Windows Phone devices...but they might be
inclined to drop the platform after Microsoft's purchase of Nokia's
mobile device division:

In 2011, IDC predicted that Windows Phone would have 20% market share
(much higher than other people were predicting), but now they predict
a much slower growth for Windows Phone...just 10.2% and not until

The reports/reviews of Microsoft's new Surface 2 are *not*
overwhelming...Microsoft has a need to draw customers to their
flagship Windows 8 platform, but the Surface did not sell well.
People have been calling for Microsoft to make huge advances with the
Surface 2...but the Surface 2 looks just like the Surface Pro, runs
the same software, is just a little faster, has a little better
battery life. The big difference is apparently that the Surface Pro 2
has a kickstand...take that Apple and Android!
