Real estate companies are building "small lot homes" just north of downtown LA, building 250 of these skinny homes on tiny lots by next year. They are called the "iPhone or Prius" of homes, priced between $500k and $800k when the lots can be as small as 600 square feet! The new law allows developers to turn multi-family lots into tiny single family home lots:

Budget cuts due to sequestration are blamed for the DOD grounding military flights for the Miramar Air Show, which probably will kill the event for at least this year. The thing that doesn't make sense is that the Miramar Air Show makes a profit--more than $17 mil in some years. The profits are used to fund base programs for Marines and their families, so this is a big loss to military families in Miramar:

Nike made a T-shirt for the Carolina Panthers, and Nike apparently knows that the Panters play in North Carolina because they put the letters "NC" on the shirt. Unfortunately, Nike put an image of *South Carolina* on the shirt:
