The effect of Alzheimer's disease can be reversed in mice with treatment, even animals with advanced stages of Alzheimer's can be cured by administering a molecule in the brain. Learning, memory, and blood flow in the brain were all boosted with this treatment:

The cable industry says that they can provide 3Gbps cable broadband connections (3x faster than Google Fiber, 450x faster than the current average U.S. broadband connection)...they apparently aren't doing it because competition and regulation aren't forcing them to offer faster speeds for lower prices:

Dish dropped out of the bidding for Sprint, handing the win to SoftBank. I think that this was inevitable once Sprint's leadership showed how much they would support SoftBank--asking Dish for a MUCH larger breakup fee than they asked SoftBank, setting all types of deadlines for Dish, etc.:
