LOTD for May 7

An Air Force brochure on sexual assault advises potential victims not to fight off their attackers.  The Pentagon estimates there were *26,000* incidents of sexual assault over the past year (up from just 19,000 incidents the previous year) and only 3,374 reported cases.  50% of servicewomen did not report their sexual abuse because they did not think that anything would be done, and 62% of servicewomen who reported the sexual assault reported that they were a victim of retaliation for reporting the assault:

Last year Apple had 74% of the smartphone industry's profits and Samsung had 23%...not leaving much profit for anyone else!  Over the most recent quarter, Apple has 57% of the smartphone industry's profits and Samsung has 43%.  With no new iOS device coming out and with the Galaxy S4 just released, I would be shocked if Samsung doesn't have the majority of the profits this quarter:

Microsoft announced that they have an impressive 250 million SkyDrive users...but Microsoft is counting all Office 365 users, anyone who uses Windows 8 or Windows Phone (whether or not they use SkyDrive), and anyone who has used SkyDrive once:

Samsung's S Voice is their Siri competitor and they have an interesting Easter Egg--when someone asks S Voice if it has ever used an iPhone, S Voice responds "No, I have standards.":
