The Obama administration has their biggest foreign policy win in years with Turkey and Israel agreeing to normalize relations. Israel and Turkey are the US's biggest allies in the Middle East and together with the US they could establish a coalition to deal with Iran and Syria:

The NOAA's Spring Outlook says that much of the US will have above-average temperatures including Texas, the Southwest, and the Great Plains.
