Blueship already has 133 startup companies interested in becoming tenants of their floating city near Silicon Valley. The ship will be only 12 miles from the coast of San Francisco, so it has easy access for tech professionals to work and live near Silicon Valley. However, since the "city" will float on international waters, entrepreneurs will only need tourist of short-term business visas instead of hard-to-get H-IB work visas. Blueship points out that the U.S. will have 38,000 new graduates in computer science this year (many of them may be here on student visas and not eligible to be hired by tech companies) but have 144,000 job openings for computer science workers:

SpaceX sent the first commercial supply ship toward the International Space Station with their successful liftoff today. The rocket is carrying 1,000 pounds of provisions to the space station:
