Americans may soon be able to test themselves for HIV in a quick, over-the-counter test. Government officials estimate that 240,000 people in the U.S. (20% of the 1.2 mil HIV carriers) do not know they have HIV, one big reason why there are still about 50,000 new people infected by HIV every year. But are the people who are unaware that they have HIV likely to pay for a test and take it at home?

The HTC One X and Evo 4G LTE are the first devices to face an import delay at US Customs for potentially infringing an Apple patent. HTC cannot import either smartphone in the US for an indefinite amount of time, until they can prove that they can allow users to click on phone numbers and email addresses to open a menu of options without infringing on Apple's patent:
