This site keeps up a nice summary of the situation with the nuclear reactors in Japan. It is nice that reactors 1-3 are in stable condition. The reactor core damage for reactors 2 and 3 resulted in a rating of 5 on the 7-point INES scale. Chernobyl was a 7 on that scale while Three Mile Island was a 5, to put things in perspective:

I think that it is amazing (and morbid) that Ukraine's government has opened the Chernobyl nuclear reactor site as a tourist attraction. Radiation levels are much higher than elsewhere in the region, but they say that it is medically safe to spend a day there...though they don't allow pregnant women nor anyone under 18. Somehow I doubt that the Japanese government will turn the Fukushima reactors into tourist attractions:

Study showed that stem cell therapy can reverse heart damage in patients with enlarged hearts due to heart attacks. The benefits from the stem cell injections appear to be 3x better than current medical treatments. Heart size decreased 15-20% (3x what is possible today) and scar tissue decreased 18.3%. Over 5 million Americans currently have an enlarged heart due to prior heart attacks. Human trials at dozens of hospitals will take 5 years before the treatment can get FDA approval:
