Studies found frailty reduction methods can more than double cancer survival and reduce mortality risk in the aged by 5 times.  Myostatin muscle boosting was found to completely reverse the muscle loss that often accompanies advanced cancer, thus increasing the lifespan of animals with cancer.  Another study found that a single injection of a soluble receptor into mice (previously injected with colon cancer cells) returned their muscle mass to normal, and 40 days later ALL of the animals without the receptor were dead but more than half of the treated animals were still alive:
