Three different research groups have shown that stem cells can be obtained from blood drawn from a simple needle stick, and those stem cells may be used to form any type of tissue in the body:

MIT researchers have figured out how to use a type of holographic refraction light science to enable Android phones to calculate eyeglass prescriptions! A $2 tube (needed for the light refraction) attached to an Android phone with their app is all that is needed:

Apple *admitted* that some iPhone 4 customers have been having reception issues and blames it on how the iPhones have incorrectly calculated signal strength since the original was released in 2007! Since holding the iPhone certain ways drops the received signal strength, customers with a weak signal then lose their reception completely. Apple said that they sometimes display 4 bars when they should have as little as 2 bars...so, they say that people who grip their phones in certain ways are likely in areas with very weak signal strength, but they don't know it because their iPhone says that they have 4 or 5 bars. In other words, AT&T's coverage has not been as good as the iPhones have been claiming since the iPhone was released:

Apple apparently *already* has a Verizon-compatible iPhone! This article says that the reason that the iPhone is on Verizon is because Apple and Verizon haven't agreed to a deal:

It turns out that Elin Nordegren will apparently be getting $100 million, not the $750 million previously reported. It turns out that Tiger is only worth between $500 million and $600 million, so the previous number was way too high. One of Tiger's mistresses got $10 million from Tiger, so the $100 million to Elin doesn't seem that high to me, but it is still much more than the pre-nup called for
