Quantum computing algorithm developed that can exponentially increase the speed that linear equations are solved...this is *very* relevant to the type of work that I do and could make a big difference on countless systems. Right now there is a major problem with loading data into memory, but this algorithm is very new and someone may solve the problem soon:
