Raytheon has created a military application for the Google Android system. Android-based cell phones with the app can track fellow squad members and even UAVs as long as they are on the soldier's buddy list. The Raytheon app costs a few hundred dollars per user, while a similar military system costs thousands per user, and any soldier who has used a smartphone can immediately use the app:
