First Dish paid $2.775 bil to get the 40MHz of LTE spectrum that bankrupt companies DBSD and TerreStar owned, then Dish bid $2.2 bil for 70% of Clearwire, then Dish bid $25.5 bil for Sprint...now, Dish has bid $2 bil for LightSquared:

Sprint was forced to increase its offer for Clearwire from $2.97 per share to $3.40 per share because of Dish's $3.30/share bid and minority Clearwire shareholder objections to what they thought was a low offer from Sprint:
