Everybody should know by now that they shouldn't text and drive...but many people sadly still do. Now it appears that a helicopter pilot and 3 passengers (a patient and 2 medical attendants going between hospitals) were killed when the helicopter crashed, with texting while flying a factor. The pilot received 4 texts and sent 3 texts during the flight:

Google is the target of an antitrust complaint that states that Google is using Android to control consumer Internet data for online advertising. I find it pretty funny that Microsoft is one of the companies bringing this lawsuit--Microsoft saying that another company shouldn't be pre-installing programs with their operating system?

Competition is such a nice thing...now that Google has made it official that they will bring Google Fiber to Austin, AT&T says that they will bring Gigabit internet service to Austin:

WhatsApp denied the reports that they were potentially going to sell their company to Google:

Study of iOS apps found that more than 75% of all app revenue was generated via in-app purchases, with 90% of all revenue for Asia coming via in-app purchases. The freemium model doesn't bring in money and charging for apps doesn't bring in much compared with in-app purchases:
