Mexico City police has created an app that tracks your location and lets you contact local police at the press of a button. They hope that this will help the police to respond quicker, build better connections with citizens, and reduce drug violence. The app not only gives your location information, but gives police access to the contacts on the phone and how often that phone has emailed/called each contact:
