The first White House Chief of Technology has resigned, apparently to run for Lt. Gov. in Virginia. Pres. Obama created the White House CTO position on his first day as President and Aneesh Chopra has been US CTO for almost 3 years now:

AT&T's filing with the FCC stating that the FCC should not place restrictions on how Dish uses its spectrum seems to indicate that AT&T is interested in Dish's LTE spectrum. The FCC requires that LightSquared get FCC approval before selling or leasing 25% of their network capacity to AT&T or Verizon, with AT&T saying now that Dish should not be limited in selling or leasing spectrum to AT&T like how LightSquared and other 700 MHz spectrum owners are limited. I don't see anyway to interpret that other than AT&T wants to buy or lease Dish's 40 MHz of nationwide LTE spectrum:

Verizon has apparently started employee training for their upcoming family data sharing plans. It appears that people can buy buckets of data and then add other phones/tablets to their data plan for $9.99 per device. This would really save some people a lot of money (like my wife and me):

Analyst raised his estimate of Kindle Fire 4Q sales from 5 mil units to 6 mil units, which would mean that Amazon sold more Kindle Fire tablets in the 4Q than *all* other Android tablets combined. The headline saying that the Kindle Fire sales were no match for the iPad seems a little skewed to me because the Kindle Fire was only on sale for 1.5 of the 3 months in the quarter and the Kindle Fire has a very different market (and price) than the iPad:
