US border agents in the Port of Oakland intercepted and destroyed a shipment of the dangerous Khapra beetle from Pakistan. The Khapra beetle is native to India and can eat its way through up to 70% of grain stores to which it has access. The larvae are not easy to recognize because they are extremely small, and the border agents found them even though they were hidden among a container full of palletized goods. Great job by those people!

Sprint said that they have 100,000 femtocells on their network (nearly 1/3 of the total in the US) and expected to have 1 million femtocells on their network in a few years.  It is interesting that there are about 100,000 more femtocells than cell towers in the US!

Not only is AT&T blocking the upload speed for the Motorola Atrix, Motorola is openly admitting that the Atrix has poor voice quality.  Motorola is asking for 1,000 Atrix users to help them figure out how to fix the serious voice quality problems.  Poor voice quality on a hot new phone that uses AT&T's network...never heard of that happening before:
