I think that it is great that a former foster child started a camp 16 years ago that is still running and enables foster children to spend a week in camp with their siblings each year. It is sad that 70% of the children in foster care in the US are separated from at least one sibling:

Study (that I hope has skewed data) found that 1/3 of high school graduates never read another book for the rest of their lives and 42% of college graduates never read another book after college. 80% of US families did not buy or read a book last year and 70% of US adults have not been in a bookstore in the last 5 years!
