Study found that Verizon smartphone users on average consume about 25% more wireless data than AT&T iPhone users, with more than 4% of Verizon smartphone users consuming over 2 GB per month as compared to just 1.6% of iPhone users. This surprises me because all this time the complaints were about how iPhone users were bandwidth hogs that brought down AT&T's network and AT&T moved to a usage-based pricing model first even though Verizon has more bandwidth hogs:

Motorola's second quarter profit increased from $26 million last year to $162 million this year, beating Wall Street estimates. Higher than expected sales of Motorola's Android smartphones is credited for a big part of their turnaround. I'm actually sending this LOTD from my Motorola Droid X and can honestly state that the X is far superior to the BlackBerry it replaced:

Article about how Sprint has made incredible progress over the past 3 years, culminating in its first net subscriber quarterly gain in 3 years and its best postpaid churn ever (1.85%). It points out that Sprint's customer service rating has improved for 10 consecutive quarters and Sprint's customer service rating has improve more than any other wireless carrier over the past 2 years:
