Interesting lawsuit over whether or not connecting with other professionals via LinkedIn (this will probably apply to other social networking media such as Facebook) is a violation of noncompete and non-solicitation contracts. That raises the questions of whether or not having a network of professional contracts equals solicitation and whether a non-solicitation restriction will force people to disconnect and de-friend coworkers and customers of former employees until the non-compete period ends:
