The oil spill resulted in a large portion of the Gulf of Mexico being closed to fishing, but the big news was that the loop current could bring the oil to the Florida Keys. There is a big worry that the oil spill could destroy the popular tourist beaches and fragile coral reefs around the southern tip of the peninsula:

Android passed Windows Mobile for smartphone market share and is outselling the iPhone in North America:

When asked about losing their exclusive rights to the iPhone, AT&T's CEO said that 80% of their customers are on family plans or business-discount plans so they wouldn't leave AT&T even if another carrier got the iPhone. That is quite a different answer than saying that they would continue to have the iPhone exclusively:
