Tiny new sensor could provide a cheap way to treat and combat diabetes and other diseases. The early results include being able to monitor diabetics' glucose levels via their breath (no need draw blood from their finger!) and detect breast cancer early through saliva. The sensors can be mass produced inexpensively because the technology is already used for making chips in cell phones and other devices:
