Google's China policy could impact the sales of Android-based smartphones in China. However, that impact might be limited to the Android-based phones most closely tied to Google such as the Nexus One. The article also mentions that only 20,000 Nexus One phones have been sold so far...and with the complaints about its performance with T-Mobile I doubt the numbers will increase much anytime soon:
