Google is extending its Google Maps Navigation to phones with Android 1.6 or higher--before, only Android 2.0 phones (just the Droid) had the free turn-by-turn Navigation. By the way, the friend I've been staying with on my family's trip has the Droid phone and I'm impressed that he can just say where he wants to go and the phone will guide him there...no key presses:
