Nuclear bomb debris is stored at Los Alamos National Laboratory and unfortunately the mountain burial sites aren't containing the waste and it has been getting to the Rio Grande--one of the most important water sources in the Southwest US. Containing the waste is difficult, especially when we do not know where all the nuclear waste is buried on Los Alamos' 40-square-mile property. Radioactive waste has entered the drinking water and the wind carries radioactive dust, so the people living in the area have reason to worry:
