The swine flu is rapidly spreading throughout the US, so it is good that the swine flu vaccine began to be available on Tuesday. It is scary that pregnant women have a 6x greater chance to die from the swine flu, with 100 pregnant women in the US sent to emergency rooms between April and August (when the swine flu was much less widespread than it will be this Fall and Winter), with 28 pregnant women (and almost certainly the kids they were carrying) dying:
